Learning Pathway
Our learning pathway leads you through from beginner to fluency. You will
certainly find the level that is right for you.
1.1: Beginners
If you have no knowledge or a very limited knowledge of
French, you will acquire 'survival' skills, enough to establish social contact
1.2: Elementary
At this level you will be able to deal with practical aspects of everyday living.
2: Improvers
You have studied the language before (maybe even up to GCSE standard) but you will
learn to communicate efficiently to deal with social and work requirements.
3: Intermediate
At this level your communication skills will allow you
to communicate easily, colloquially, or formally on a wide range of topics.
4: Advanced
You speak French well already, but you need to develop your skills in order to cope with any situation and communicate easily with French
mother-tongue speakers, both orally and in writing.
5: Fluent
Close to mother-tongue standard you want to keep up your French, learn more about the language and the people or practise and maintain your skills.
