Our tutors, who are all native French speakers, use a range of written and audio-visual materials. Our teaching methods will not only help improve your skills and confidence, but also provide an insight
into the French way of life and culture.
1-2-1: We offer 'tailor-made' private tuition. If this is what you are

Group: we offer daytime and evening classes at all levels.

If you know some French but have not studied with us in the last year, please contact us for an appointment to
come and meet a teacher who will be pleased to advise you, free of charge, on which course to choose.
When do the classes run?
The courses start around mid- September, and run until late May - 30 sessions of 2 hours per week.
We offer daytime and evening classes at all levels. Each of our classes has a maximum target of 14 students. We also run
courses in the summer, from June to mid-July. Please contact us for further details.
Cost
A 30 week course at AFDY is £230, the equivalent of £3.83 per hour.
Beginners class £100.00 for 13 weeks. Where applicable, the course book is not included in the fee, although some books can be borrowed for a small fee.
